A 45 years old patient reported the
complaint of nasal fluid regurgitation following extraction of upper right first molar one
month previously. The patient had a nasal voice and intraoral examination revealed a small
opening at the tooth extraction site. Further examinations confirmed abnormal
communication opens into the maxillary sinus. The nose-blowing sign was positive. On drinking
water, fluid was regurgitated and escape from the nose.
